Churning tummy...

Didn't know how it happened. Was happily at my sis-in-law's newborn baby shower on Sunday, followed by a trip to the Science Centre, then suddenly, down with a fever. You know that feverish feeling and trying to get to sleep, but couldn't find a comfy spot? Damn, I hated that.

Anyway, went to see the doc on Monday, with Mummy dearest coz she was worried that I might faint on the way. Told the doc the symptoms... nausea, tummy-ache, fever (hadn't gone down despite the 2 tablets I took the night before), aching muscles. He thought I got dengue at first (touchwood!) coz he asked me if I knew of anyone who had dengue, and started looking for spots on me. But after poking at my tummy with his cold fingers, he decided that it was a case of stomach flu viral infection. Gave me two days of rest from work. Got lots of sleep and meals of love from Mummy.

Apparently now I'm feeling much better. I couldn't even find the energy to do anything yesterday. But I'm surprised to find that I actually missed work! Ha. Especially after Amalina sms-ed me to say the kids asked about me, and Ray called this afternoon with the first sentence being, "Going to die yet?" Hahahaha.

Maybe I just missed the people. :)

And I'm having this sudden craving for chicken rice. Damn!

Yun & Zhihao's Solemnisation

Yun got married two days ago... the solemnisation, not the customary yet. But it's official in the eyes of law.

It's actually quite a strange feeling to see your own younger sister getting married. I think the feeling will be stronger on the customary day... when I'll be drinking tea, etc. Heh. Anyway, it's kind of a mixture of feelings that day. I'm really happy that she's found someone to spend her life with, someone to share it, and it's also a new chapter in her life... a step into another page of womanhood, of responsibilities. But still, can't shake the feeling that no matter how old she is, she's still younger than I am, and still a little girl. I can't help but compare her now, to her old previous tomboy look... Hahaha.

Yes, I know... there's still the littlest pig. If Yun is the little girl, then she's the baby. :)

Wow, if me, as the oldest would feel this way when they get married, I can't imagine how my grandma and parents feel. :)

Oh, by the way, if you would like to see pictures, please click on the link to Greenie's blog to see. I don't see the need to post the same pictures when all our blogs are viewed by the few "regulars".

Right?

I'm also too tired after work to post.

Reached home quite late after tuition most of the days too.

... ...

Ok la.. ok... I admit... I'm lazy to post the pictures.

To the cinema : Transformers

Warning : spoilers ahead!

Watched the movie, Transformers, last night. I'm not a fan of Transformers, so I went without any expectations. However, I felt that it was nothing spectacular. Typical storyline... good guys vs. bad guys.... nerd in class ended up being the hero with the babe of the school. The clash of the transformers at the end looked just like a clash of metals all together. I couldn't follow who was who. Also, I wondered if the story didn't drag in the middle where Sam spent time looking for the spectacles, the crew might spent more time on the fighting between Optimus Prime and Megatron, coz I felt the bad guy died too fast. And I also didn't understand how come Megatron "died" when the cube was inserted into his body. The only thing I'm impressed is how smooth the transformation was... and how good all the vehicles looked.

King of kings?

Had a weird dream last night. Was running around in a sort of school campus-like environment, looking for this boy called Wang Zhong Guan (王中冠). I even had a glimpse of his chinese name somewhere in the midst of the dream. Then I was running around like a mad woman, looking for him... and finally found him in the library, where I clearly remembered, was full of people. And I climbed on top of a table, shouted his name, and everyone turned to look at me. Then the boy stood up, and I realised that he looked a lot like one of the student from school. Haha.

Weird dream, right?

Ok, don't let your imagination run wild here. I have to clarify that I'm not into younger boys or that kind of stuff... I just don't know why that boy's face would appear in my dream. And I don't even assist in his class!

The even stranger thing was that, when I woke up, the chinese name was etched on my mind - 王中冠, which translated, means the king among the champions.

Is this a sign, or something trying to tell me something?
